In the month of July 2017…

With fasting month over, time to get back onto the saddle.

Not an ideal day out for a recess ride. Gloomy and overcast. Turned back immediately with the showers coming in.

One of those days where I get to bike home from work. At the same time, conducting a recce for an upcoming ride. Gorgeous evening it was.

Used to stay at the town in the background. Lovely memories there.

Well, it’s getting late. Time to zoom home, with another 20-odd clicks to go.

Did a group ride with a bunch of B pals. No agenda and route. Just riding around till where it takes us.

The ride took us to an abandoned housing town which is slated for demolition to make way for newer housings. Rustic place with a lot of character.

July had been fun. Wish it will continue in the months to come.

Summary of the Weekend

Friday was one of those days where I cycled to work. Having meetings starting late means I can have breakfast leisurely before making my way out.

Usual fare at a nearby eatery.

A ride over the weekend to s neighbouring town. Missus was able to do so without experiencing any sharp pains. A milestone and confirmation that the swap to Schwalbe Marathons was the right move.

Muc-Off Dry Shower

Planned to cycle to work this week as it is a week packed with meetings in the office.

Bought this last week when I collected our Bromptons as I knew it will come in handy at my workplace. Used this today to freshen up upon reaching workplace.

It is foamy and upon application onto the skin, it is immediately absorbed by the skin. At first, it gives off a buttery aroma. Once it is dried, the buttery aroma fades away.

Most importantly, it keeps me fresh, as though I have just had my shower, and there is no feeling of sweat and stickiness on me at all.

Cycling to Work on a Brompton

Had the chance to cycle to work on one of the weekends. Total distance to and fro is 15+ km. Great way to exercise, arrived at my office, zero carbon output. Killing 3 birds with 1 stone.

Stopped by a local coffeehouse for some breakfast amd beverage.

How the folded Brompton fits under my table in my temporary office. Perfectly fitted.

On the way home, stopped by for an outdoor shot.
